Yes. Sweet tea, as my grandmother made it: boil tea in stewer until water is dense with tea; put a couple of heaping scoops of sugar (2 inches at least) in the bottom of the pitcher; and pour the contents of the stewer, hot, onto the sugar. Use tap water to fill up the rest of the way. best served by pouring warm concoction into a glass filled with crushed ice. In chemistry class we learn that this is a super saturated solution.
