Ah sweet tea...

When it's done right, there is nothing better. This article explains it all for you. No doubt Fred will chip in on this....

Yes. Sweet tea, as my grandmother made it: boil tea in stewer until water is dense with tea; put a couple of heaping scoops of sugar (2 inches at least) in the bottom of the pitcher; and pour the contents of the stewer, hot, onto the sugar. Use tap water to fill up the rest of the way. best served by pouring warm concoction into a glass filled with crushed ice. In chemistry class we learn that this is a super saturated solution.
